Jun 21, 2021 · Here is a video where I used my J-valve solely with my Healthways Scuba Hybrid regulator (equivalent, or better than, the Mistral) to determine when I needed to terminate the dive. This is a rather long video of lampreys spawning, but toward the end, at the 39:51 minute mark, I talked about needing to surface because I pulled my J-valve.

Aug 4, 2008 · The Dacor Nautilus, which both Don and I have and use, has a solid weight system which will not hang up when released unless there is a tank boot on the tank. By the way, I think of these as the beginning of modern diving, and not a vintage diving technique, as they had integrated, push-button inflation systems for buoyancy control. John

Apr 7, 2008 · Some accessories (like the dry suit inflator) may not be vintage, but are real life needs for some of us. Also the Royal Aqua Master with its balanced first stage can be used with any tank pressure and the only limit would be some of the yokes with tanks over 3000 psi.

Sep 23, 2019 · Here are some Dacor Gauges I have. These are later 1970's I think, so not really too vintage but thought I'd share them anyway. The wrist depth gauge came from a two-gauge set (like shown in photo) and had lugs to for strap so I added a modern velcro strap. The tank pressure gauge might be earlier vintage as in 1960's? Mark

Oct 20, 2006 · i would to see a list of what classic vintage scuba movies, not t.v. or documenturys, were made in the 50's, 60's, and 70's. maybe if everybody who has watched or owns these classic films could start to post what movies they know of. it would be nice to have a reference list. thanks, mike ;D
