Aug 31, 2010 · My blower was easily going through 10-12 inch drifts with no problem. The trick i found in making the blower really perform is keeping it fed at the correct ground speed. Too fast and i was clogging, and too slow it would just "slober" the snow out. My blower worked flawlessly when i kept it loaded with just the right amount of snow.

Feb 9, 2010 · Thanks Sparky, I will now search craigslist for a snow blower attachment. There is a two stage thrower for $850 (sounds high) but is "looks" good in the pics. If anyone knows for sure what model #s fit on my 1988 312-8 then let me know. Thanks. Francis

Dec 3, 2023 · I no longer have a single stage blower to get a picture. Someone should be able to get you the photos you need to build the lift parts. I do remember when I had SS blowers, It was easier for me to install the flag to the rock shaft first, then slide the push tube on the flag and then fasten the blower end.

Oct 13, 2008 · Now today I was so exited to use it,but it would not throw the snow. The auger stopped turning. Its a 312-8 . It should be plenty of power. So I tried to push the heavy wet snow with the snowblower , and my cotter pin on the lift arm under the snowblower kept ripping out. Its the biggest cotter pin that will fit.

Jan 5, 2018 · A friend of mine gave me a snow thrower a few months back. To my recollection, he said it worked on his C-161 hydro. I mention this because I don't know if there's a difference in attachment sizes. Just looking at it, it seems as though the "arm" portion of the snow thrower is too long. Even so, how the hell do I hook this up?
