He was mentioned a bit at the final battle and there was a chapter about his family other than that I don't remember reading anything else MAJOR. Like I want to know what happened to HX SQX relationship?!

Jul 10, 2022 · AFAIK, "Sheng" just means scholar, so "He Sheng" is just "Scholar He" -- not actually his name, but a formal/respectful way of referring to him. "He Xuan" is indeed his real name, and the "Xuan" was the same as Shi Qingxuan's, and the two were born on the same day -- hence why Shi Wudu was able to swap their fates.

The character used for "He" is the exact same as He Xuan's name. And the person they're "waiting" for is also assumed to be HX because of this. . Not really significant in terms of your question, but a cool tidbit that's kinda lost in TL, and shows that if this is true, while he was not really rich and wealthy, he was happy and had people he loved.
