The Thomas Goree Unit (GR) is a Texas Department of Criminal Justice men's prison, located in Huntsville, Texas, 4 miles (6.4 km) south of downtown Huntsville on Texas State Highway 75 South.

Originally called Camp Goree, the unit was established on 1,000 acres of land as a convict colony for fifty-five ill-behaved inmates from the Rusk Penitentiary. Goree Unit is the location of one of the Sex Offender Treatment Programs and dynamic risk assessment for male inmates. In addition, offenders can receive substance abuse treatment, as well as medical and dental services.
