Sep 1, 2017 · From what I understand, the purchase of the e-stamp counts as a regular stamp until your physical copy arrives. And according to the website, you can use any state and it will count. I live in Virginia and have done that before. It looks like a regular license but under the things purchased, it just says federal stamp I believe.

It says its temporary until you receive the hard copy but I assume it would work all through hunting season if say the actual stamp was lost or if you never received the actual stamp. Would prolly just need to call the dnr to verify. Edit: Guess it does have a 30 days experation, I just looked at my PDF for my licenses.

I want to go duck hunting with my buddy who doesn't have his. Can I buy him a second one, so long as he signs it across the face? Or is that a "straw purchase" of sorts?

I'm playing with the idea of taking a trip out to somewhere on the central flyway later in the year. I've got a FL license and stamp.
