I’ve tried turning upside down, thinner case, and remove case (will charge then stops after few seconds), but basically won’t charge. I’m wondering if the charging pads are made by different companies.

Nov 13, 2023 · Adapters may limit charging speed. I think the CCS adapters available for Teslas limit charging speed to around 170 kW, probably because the adapters add extra contact points and heat. Tesla currently charges a premium for non-Teslas to charge at Superchargers. Not sure if that will remain the same after agreements or not.

My case 3,000 miles / 3.6 mi per kwh, so the MYLR will need about 833 kwh/month. multiple the off-peak rate with estimated monthly Tesla kWh. My cost $0.24/kWh on SCE. So $200 to power the Tesla. Giving me an average cost of $0.07/miles.

Cost is lower in rural/suburban areas and on Gen2. As a rough rule of thumb, plan on $0.40 / kW. Where I live in Central NJ (NJTP exits 9 through 6) charging is typically flat rate $0.36 or so.
