Jun 8, 2005 · Yes. there should be adjustment screws on your gun. Near the trigger. The sears will adjust how much you have to pull the trigger before it sets off. I'll go look for a diagram on that gun and get back to you. But yes, shorter (lighter) trigger pull is possible, i'm thinking. It looks like there is a two stage sear, but they work together as one.

Dec 28, 2005 · A .177 will get the job done and a basic b19 based gun like the Crosman optimus is not too bad. The triggers on these budget guns suck and they may not be particularly smooth, but they can keep inside 1/2" at backyard distances if you've got a good pellet that the gun likes and are proficient at using the artillery hold.

Also, a springer has recoil both backwards and forwards so you if you get a scope you need one made for a springer because it will trash a firearm scope that is only designed for backward recoil.

Aug 10, 2021 · If I lived out there, I'd be more worried about a rogue arrow than a pellet gun...Of course, there are some hi-powered PCP guns and in larger calibers too (which some people use for hog hunting where legal). BUT, at the very least, they could open it up for squirrel/rabbit with either a 177 or 22 cal airgun limitation maybe?
