Illegal Israeli settlers in the West Bank are continuing to engage in violence against Palestinians in the occupied Palestinian enclave.

At least six Palestinians were killed and several were injured on Tuesday in an Israeli strike on Jenin in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, a statement by the Palestinian health ministry said. The ministry said the injured were in stable condition,

Militant groups have grown in strength in Jenin, where Israel estimates almost half the population is affiliated to Islamic Jihad or Hamas. Since March 2022, Jenin and outlying areas in the north of the West Bank have drawn intensified raids ordered by Israel's government after a spate of Palestinian street attacks.
