The United Nations chief is urging world leaders and officials attending an upcoming U.N. conference on ending the decades-old Israeli-Palestinian conflict “to keep the two-state solution alive.”

A Senate resolution filed Monday condemned the continued inhumane treatment, deliberate starvation and mass killings of Palestinian civilians in occupied territories, calling for accountability under international humanitarian law and the urgent delivery of humanitarian aid.
