The family of the victim in the Troy Corewell shooting said the shooter made offensive comments to the body of the victim’s father at his funeral.

TROY, MI -- Police say there is no active threat to the community following a shooting that took place Thursday morning at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital. Initial reports suggested an active shooter situation was unfolding at the hospital, but police now say the alleged attack was a “targeted incident.”

Police have confirmed that the two individuals involved were friends who had a falling out and that they both worked for the hospital.
