The worst of the storms have passed out of the Twin Cities metro but tornado warnings have been issued in parts of northern Minnesota and western Wisconsin as the storms push east. There was a report of an observed tornado in the New Richmond area and near Roberts around 3:30 p.

There were numerous tornado reports in Minnesota and western Wisconsin during Thursday's severe weather outbreak, and strong winds after the storms passed have left more than 10,000 Minnesota residents without power.

Severe thunderstorms accompanied by hail, damaging winds, and at least one tornado brought major damage to neighborhoods across the Baltimore region Friday afternoon.
