March 11, 2025 – San Diego County Sheriff’s Office officials report that a man is facing serious charges after kidnapping a ride-share driver in the East County.

Shane Capezio, 22, is held at the San Diego Central Jail and is expected to be arraigned on Wednesday at the East Division Courthouse.
