Los Angeles – Quarterback Matthew Stafford will begin the Los Angeles Rams' training camp on the sidelines while recovering from back soreness. Stafford is only expected to miss the first “block” of roughly four practices in training camp, coach Sean McVay said Tuesday as the Rams reported to work at Loyola Marymount University.

One name to look out for that hasn't been discussed, though, is backup safety Jaylen McCollough. ESPN's Aaron Schatz wrote that the 2024 undrafted free agent out of Tennessee has the chance to earn a bigger role for himself in a secondary without a lot of stability.
