The Arizona Diamondbacks host the St. Louis Cardinals in the afternoon portion of Sunday’s MLB slate. Arizona’s Eugenio Suarez returned from the All-Star break in great form, homering twice in last night’s 10-1 victory over St. Louis.

The Snakes came alive once again on Saturday afternoon as the Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the St. Louis Cardinals by a score of 10-1 at Chase Field.

Suarez (shoulder) is expected to resume facing hitters in live batting practice before the end of July, MLB.com reports. Suarez was cleared to throw off a mound earlier this month and tossed his most recent bullpen session Saturday.

Most of the damage was done in the first four innings, when Arizona (49-50) scored nine runs during an onslaught that included two home runs from Eugenio Suarez and two triples from Corbin Carroll.
