A couple of AL playoff contenders open up a three-game series on Friday, July 11 with the Seattle Mariners visiting the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park in Detroit.

A fter getting swept against the New York Yankees, the Seattle Mariners will look to right the ship in the final series before the All-Star break. The Mariners and Detroit Tigers will begin the series at 4:10 p.m. PT on Friday at Comerica Park.

The Tigers look to make a hard push heading into the Midsummer Classic, as they hope to stay at the top of the Major League Baseball standings before Monday. They are riding high thanks to a stretch of good play, having swept the Cleveland Guardians, on the road, last weekend, before taking two of three from the Tampa Bay Rays earlier in the week.
