The 22-year-old right-hander brings a mid-90s fastball and promising changeup to the organization after trade with Toronto.

The Shane Bieber era in Cleveland has reportedly come to a close. According to MLB Network's Jon Morosi, the Guardians agreed to trade the ace starting pitcher to the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday in exchange for 22-year-old pitching prospect Khal Stephen.

Bieber, who has two All-Star appearances and won the American League Cy Young Award in 2020, is currently making a comeback from Tommy John surgery.
