James Van Der Beek will take on the role of Dean Wilson in Prime Video's upcoming Legally Blonde prequel Elle.

Van Der Beek will return to high school as superintendent Dean Wilson, who's also managing a mayoral candidacy.

James Van Der Beek is officially going Blonde. "I truly couldn’t be more excited about this series," Witherspoon said in a statement shared alongside the series announcement in February.
