Google (GOOGL) is the latest technology giant to officially make a major donation to the group planning President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, which is less than two weeks away.

Following the lead of major competitors, Google gave a sizable donation to President-elect Donald Trump’s inaugural fund this week. Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, and Apple CEO Tim Cook are among the tech titans who donated a million dollars to Trump’s inauguration,

Google joins several other large companies and founders in cutting big checks to Trump’s inauguration fund, including Apple CEO Tim Cook, who last week said he would personally donate $1 million (Apple itself is not expected to make any donations).
