Detroit officials are investigating what sparked a fire that burned through a historic, century-old church for more than four hours Tuesday.

A fire started at the former St. Agnes church and rectory Monday in the area of Rosa Parks Boulevard and Bethune street in Detroit. Detroit Fire Department responded to the scene and the cause is under investigation.
