St. Louis did everything right for 40 minutes, fall in end capped off by goalie goal by Wild's Filip Gustavsson

Filip Gustavsson made 27 saves and scored an empty-net goal as the Minnesota Wild snapped a two-game losing streak with a 4-1 win over the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday night. Ryan Hartman scored a power-play goal in the first period and Jakub Lauko scored a short-handed goal in the second for the Wild.

It was a rough night for the Blues in their home opener, losing 4-1 to the Minnesota Wild. The Blues allowed a power play goal, they gave up a shorthanded goal, had two waved off and even let Minnesota’s goalie score an empty netter.
