A Bloomington man has been sentenced to 24 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to participating in an armed robbery.

A man was hospitalized late Thursday after being shot in the 500 block of East Monroe Street in Bloomington, Illinois, and the incident remains under investigation.

Police responded shortly after 10 p.m. to the 500 block of East Monroe Street following a report of a person shot.
