Sedberry will oversee roster management, contracts, revenue-sharing plans and general operations for the Badgers.

In that role, he worked closely with Badgers coach Luke Fickell and oversaw the program’s roster management. In his new role Sedberry will lead the Badgers roster management, player personnel and football operations.

Fickell prioritized that experience and proximity to the program during the hiring process. "Marcus is somebody that's been close to the program that we know well," Fickell told the Mike Heller Show on Monday afternoon.
