Way, a long-standing faculty member in Bumpers College, was a finalist for Industry Educator of the Year. Alumni Haley Lynn Dooley, Songmin Han, Miranda Smith and Jeff Allison were also honored.

This year, eight different faculty were awarded teaching improvement grants totaling $14,415 and seven different faculty were awarded Student Success Grants totaling $34,900.
