The Tennessee Volunteers need a good run at the 2025 SEC baseball tournament to get on track going into the NCAA baseball tournament.

Tennessee baseball has lost four straight series and four home SEC series after losing to Vanderbilt in the final two games.

Tennessee will play in the 2026 Amegy Bank College Baseball Series at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, home of MLB's Texas Rangers. The Vols will join Arizona State, Mississippi State, Texas A&M, UCLA and Virginia Tech in the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series. The Amegy Bank College Baseball Series will take place Feb. 28-March 1, 2026.

The Vols closed out their regular season on May 17 by losing two of three games to Arkansas and continuing a tailspin that has gone on way too long for a team that once was ranked No. 1 and seemingly capable of successfully defending its national championship.
