Members of the public have the legal right to wild camp on Dartmoor without landowner permission, the UK Supreme Court has ruled. Alexander Darwall, a multimillionaire hedge fund manager, and his wife Diana had appealed to the UK’s highest court to end the right to camp on common land in the Devon national park without a landowner’s permission.
