The Federal Aviation Administration has approved the launch of SpaceX's Starship 9 after two explosions idled the program for months.

Federal regulators gave SpaceX the green light for another test flight of Starship, the most powerful launch vehicle ever constructed, after mishaps earlier this year rained debris near populated islands.

SpaceX's Starship was approved to return to flight by the Federal Aviation Administration, a move that tees up the rocket for its ninth test flight. During the upcoming launch out of South Texas, Elon Musk's company will try out a process it has never done before,
