In fact, Qualcomm just rebranded the Snapdragon chip name back in 2021, going from various digits (i.e. Snapdragon 888, 870, 480, etc.) to generation numbers.

According to the results (via DealNTech), the latest Snapdragon 8 chip scored 1483 in single-core and 4709 in multi-core. The A16 Bionic scored 1874 in single-core and 5372 in multi-core.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 still features an 18-bit ISP but has reportedly received a few tweaks. It can record 8K videos at 30fps, 4K videos at 120fps, and slo-mo 720p videos at 960fps.
