San Francisco’s “Muni” Municipal Railway has been represented by a simple, stylized emblem. Four decades on, the logo has certainly aged, but it’s now an iconic design statement loved by many.

The San Francisco Municipal Transit Agency released a new logo Tuesday. Fortunately, it harks back to their “worm” logo created in the mid-1970s by graphic designer Walter Landor.
