Using traditional resistive heating elements embedded in the lens would be a more straightforward, cheaper solution, so it will be interesting to see what Rivian actually puts into production.
Who would have thought a simple resistive heating element could be so complicated? For the Internet-facing side of this project, [edent] is using a Meross smart plug and a Sonoff S20 smart plug.
