The Pixel UI could soon gain a cool new multitasking feature in Android 16 called Bubble anything, alongside a Bubble bar to manage bubbles.

In a blog post, WhatsApp explained that chat themes are designed to "make your chats uniquely yours with colourful chat bubbles and new wallpapers".

Some code suggests that Google is working on a multitasking upgrade for next year's Android 16 update that turns apps into bubbles that will float over other apps for easy switching back and forth.
