Pearland swelled to nearly 126,000 residents in 2020, up 39 percent from 91,250 in 2010, according to the U.S. Census Bureau and the Pearland Economic Development Corp.

A multifamily development with roughly 380 units broke ground in April at Pearland Town Center, officials said.
