LAS VEGAS ( KVVU /Gray News) - An officer in Las Vegas has died after he was shot in the line of duty. According to the North Las Vegas Police Department, the officer responded to reports of someone armed with a handgun Tuesday afternoon.

Philadelphia police said the shooting happened around 1 a.m. along the I-95 south offramp to Philadelphia International Airport.

Anchorage police on Wednesday identified the man shot and killed by an officer on a busy stretch of Tudor Road Tuesday afternoon as 33-year-old Francis Rochon.
