Dykstra was a key member of the 2024-25 Montana State team that won the Big Sky Conference and made it to the NCAA Tournament. She is very familiar with a major MSU rival, Ohio State, who the Bobcats lost to in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

WEST LAFAYETTE — Former Purdue guard Rashunda Jones is staying in the Big Ten Conference and trading her black and gold for the green and white in East Lansing, Michigan. Jones announced she's transferring to Michigan State on X formerly known as Twitter on Sunday afternoon after she entered the transfer portal on March 31.

The Michigan State women's basketball program has signed a third new addition from the transfer portal. The Spartans officially announced the addition of forward Marah Dykstra on April 23. Dykstra, a native of Vancouver, joins the Spartans after spending three seasons at Montana State.
