Wells Enterprises recalls 17,000 ice cream tubs across 22 flavors due to plastic contamination fears. Check if your favorite frozen treats are affected

Nearly 18,000 containers of ice cream, frozen treats, and frozen yogurt are being recalled over concerns that they could contain pieces of plastic.

Some of the ice cream was distributed to food service suppliers, including Gordon Food Service, US Foods and Sysco Corp, as well as restaurants including Johnny Rockets and Planet Smoothie. KXAS-TV reports that the nationwide recall includes 22 flavors of ice cream and frozen yogurt in 3-gallon containers.
