Iga Swiatek turned things around at Roland-Garros after dropping eight of the first nine games against 12th-seeded Elena Rybakina in the fourth round and put together a 1-6, 6-3, 7-5 victory to extend her bid for a record fourth consecutive French Open championship.

Iga Swiatek looked on the brink of losing her French Open crown but recovered from a set and a break down to extend her winning run at the French Open to 25 matches. The four-time champion has not lost a match at Roland Garros since 2021, but she appeared to be heading for the exit when Elena Rybakina led 6-1 2-0.

Defending champion Iga Swiatek is gunning for a fifth French Open title and fourth in succession but the Pole said Sunday's comeback win over Elena Rybakina was a much-needed reminder of her claycourt prowess in a lacklustre season.
