HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - A multi-agency narcotics operation has lead to the arrest of two Hartford residents. According to the Connecticut State Police, several agencies assisted in a long-term substantial narcotics investigation in connection to cocaine being shipped through commercial parcel carriers from Puerto Rico to cities across Connecticut.

Police found more than 48 pounds of cocaine worth $600,000 at a shipping facility. Law enforcement repackaged the deliveries with a sham substance and staked out to see who accepted it. The bust was part of a long-term investigation into cocaine being shipped from Puerto Rico to several Connecticut cities.
