Hades 2 has continued to evolve since its early access release last year. Today, developer Supergiant Games has released The Warsong Update, the second major update for the roguelike sequel. It adds a final boss battle, more characters, and adjustments to several existing features.

Gameplay is being refreshed and expanded by the introduction of Ares, the god of war, and his associated Boons as well as several reworked Arcana effects. Furthermore, there are additional interactions at the Crossroads and a new animal familiar,

After a few months of silence, Supergiant Games just dropped the second massive update for Hades 2, with new story, gods, and more!

The Warsong Update is free and an automatic download. Of course, Hades II is still in early access. Given that the first game stayed there for nearly two years, you probably shouldn't hold your breath for an imminent public release.

Developer Supergiant Games has released the second major update to Hades 2. Titled "The Warsong Update," it'll add the Final Confrontation to the surface route of the story among other additions to the popular roguelike that's currently available on PC through Steam Early Access.
