ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Calling hours have been announced for a Genesee County Sheriff’s sergeant who died in the line of duty. Sgt. Thomas Sanfratello was on assignment detail at Batavia Downs.

Genesee County is taking some measures to conserve rock salt it uses on the roads but still has an adequate supply, a county official said Wednesday.
