It's officially April, which means we're mere weeks away from the 2025 NFL Draft. The Dallas Cowboys were much more active in free agency this year than they were in 2025, but many of the needs they entered the offseason with still remain.

Despite this, the last time the Cowboys drafted a safety higher than the sixth round was Byron Jones in the first round of the 2015 draft. Jones was originally a cornerback before converting to safety his rookie season and then eventually back to cornerback.

Summary: This draft class is deep at defensive tackle. Graham has been projected as the top player at the position, bringing upside as an interior pass rusher. While some Cowboys fans would be skeptical about taking another Michigan defensive lineman in the first round, Graham would solve an area of need on the team’s defense.
