The expanded College Football Playoff gave us more hyped matchups than ever before, but the wide landscape of bowl season continues to deliver. The Pop-Tarts Bowl has become a modern classic, and gave us a 42-41 Iowa State win over Miami.

The Cotton Bowl, which will host a CFP quarterfinal game, will be held on Dec. 31 at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Orange Bowl, Sugar Bowl and Rose Bowl, all of which will play host to CFP quarterfinal games, will take place Jan. 1.

The bowl schedule for the 2025-26 football season has been released. Kickoff times, locations and TV designations for every bowl game this year have been released. The vast majority of games will be broadcast on ESPN, but ABC and CBS will broadcast the Citrus Bowl and the Sun Bowl, respectively, on New Year’s Eve.
