Fire crews have made significant progress in containing the Camp House and Jenkins Creek wildfires in northern Minnesota.

Wildland fire crews are working 24/7, taking advantage of cooler, wet weather to get the upper hand on the two fires, which have scorched a combined 30,000 acres.

Michael Marsh settled in what became Forest Lake in the late 1860s. He opened a store and a hotel that became the keystone to the development of the community.
