One of the greatest boxers of this generation has announced his retirement, as Vasiliy Lomachenko has revealed he will be walking away from the sport at the age of 37 following a 13-year run as a professional.

Regarded as one of the greatest amateur boxers ever, Vasiliy Lomachenko amassed a 396-1 record and won two Olympic gold medals before turning pro.

Vasiliy Lomachenko, a three-division world champion, two-time Olympic gold medalist and arguably the greatest amateur boxer in history, announced his retirement from the sport at the age of 37.
