German carmaker BMW reported a modest increase in second-quarter deliveries on Thursday, as growing demand in Europe offset a slump in China, with the U.S. market showing resilience.
BMW Group's top execs, including CEO Oliver Zipse, Chief Technology Officer Frank Weber and head of sales Jochen Goller, attended the meeting, which featured a performance by rapper Snoop Dogg.
BMW did not specify model performance in China but said global sales of its Rolls-Royce limousines fell 16%, while its MINI brand suffered a 25% drop.
