Sophia Franklin’s mother is sharing more information about her missing daughter, who is the subject of an Amber Alert.

The Amber Alert issued for a missing 16-year-old girl from Beaver Dam believed to be with a 40-year-old man has now extended to Missouri, the AMBER Alert program stated in a Facebook post Wednesday.

"Coming from Ireland … I had read and seen a lot of negative content online," Jessica McGirr told Newsweek. "That made me very afraid to use [the subway]." ...
