Situated in the east of the island, Es Caná has all you could want for a beach holiday full of relaxation but also ... home to the legendary Anita's Bar, one of the original 1960s hippy hangouts.

In low season it's easier. The south end is best reached from the car park at Las Salinas beach (with fee); it's a 20-minute stroll through shady pine woods.
