Thailand are through to the ASEAN Championship final but only after producing an almighty effort to get past Philippines.

Thailand will face Vietnam in the final of the Asean Championship after Suphanat Mueanta's extra-time header earned the defending champions a 3-1 win over the Philippines in Bangkok on Monday to register a 4-3 aggregate victory.

Defender Chalermsak Aukkee is confident that Thailand will secure a spot in the 2024 ASEAN Cup final and leave the Philippines in tears after the second leg at of the semifinals at Rajamangala Stadium.
