Award-winning journalist Tanya Simon has been named executive producer of "60 Minutes​," America's #1 news program.

Tanya Simon, who has worked on the show for over two decades, will take over at a time of significant change for the network.

She is only the fourth executive producer to run the newsmagazine since it launched in the late 1960s under Don Hewitt’s lead.
