A disturbance in the central tropical Atlantic is expected to move west-northwestward by the end of the week, the National Hurricane Center said.

The National Hurricane Center is continuing to monitor the progress of two tropical disturbances swirling in the Atlantic basin for possible development. Forecasters say Invest 94L could develop into a tropical depression as it tracks towards the Leeward Islands and Virgin Islands while another disturbance spins off the coast of Central America.

There are still two areas of concern we are closely monitoring in the Atlantic basin. The first, Invest 94-L, has a MEDIUM 50% chance for development into our next tropical system which would be Nadine.
