Southern Baptists overwhelmingly endorsed a ban on gay marriage — including a call for a reversal of the Supreme Court’s precedent legalizing it nationwide.

The Southern Baptists Convention easily passed a resolution that called for the reversal of same-sex marriage in the United States along with supporting other long-existing conservative hot topics.

The nation’s largest Protestant denomination was motivated by conservative Christians’ success in reversing Roe v. Wade.
