The Sol Spin ride at Knotts Berry Farm, which has six rotating arms, suffered a malfunction at around 2pm on Monday and left 22 riders suspended, according to a spokesperson for the amusement park.

Sol Spin sits in the Fiesta Village of the theme park, near the merry-go-round and the Jaguar roller coaster. Riders can go as high as six stories into the air while spinning around.

It's the brand-new Sol Spin, one of the 2017 additions revealed by the historical play place back in the fall of 2016.
